The mini-story behind this painting:
My wonderful friend from Bulgaria, Vania, and her daughter Kristiana visited me in June 2014 and Kristiana really wanted us to paint together.
We bought canvases, and we started painting, but we both got tired. I decided on a butterfly, but since they left before I got a chance to finish it, this because a surprise to them later.
Overall, the entire composition measures approx. 41"x39" with 1" gaps in between canvases.
I used acrylic paints. Painting signed on the front.
I hope you will enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.
