About the artist:
"I took an art class in high-school, and was pretty impressed with what I could do. There, I learned to get through that phase where you want to quit because it looks like it won't come out good.
After a long pause, I started painting in my garage during my divorce. It became my therapy. It became my space of silence and concentration. It became my meditation. After that....I never stopped. I am inspired by the people around me, by events, and by the feelings they create.
Overall, I think life is supposed to be playful...and I don't mean having fun every day, but taking it lightly and enjoying the experiences that come along...because everything is temporary."
